Enzo Maresca hailed the performances of Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer and Moises Caicedo following Chelsea’s 3-0 win over West Ham on Saturday.
Two first-half goals from Jackson, plus an excellent finish from Palmer, sealed Chelsea’s deserved victory at the London Stadium.
Maresca’s side have now registered three away wins in a row and remain unbeaten in the Premier League since their defeat to Manchester City on the opening weekend of the season.
‘It was a complete performance and we are very happy,’ Maresca said after Chelsea’s win over West Ham.
‘The way the players are buying the ideas and the different style since I arrived has been top.
‘Also I think the way we are working off the ball – the performances of Nicolas and Cole were top, not only because they scored but because of the way they worked off the ball.
‘If we understand that we need that desire then probably we can build something important.’
When asked about Jadon Sancho’s performance, Maresca told Chelsea TV: ‘He did well, he did well.
‘It’s exactly what I said, it’s exactly what we’re expecting from him, he works on for the ball very hard with Wan-Bissaka and also the second half.
‘But then Pedro [Neto] was inside, he did well as well, we are very happy.’
Maresca also praised Caicedo after another impressive performance at the heart of Chelsea’s midfield.
‘Yeah, top, top, the performance from today was very good,’ Maresca said.
‘But since we start Moi has been fantastic. And today once again it was… he was top.’
