Fearne Cotton has been pictured for the first time since announcing she was splitting from Jesse Wood.
The former Celebrity Juice star, 43, and musician Jesse, 48, who is the son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, announced on Friday that they were ending their marriage.
She’s since stayed away from social media since, but has now been caught without her wedding ring, as the BBC Radio presenter was captured while out running errands.
She looked sombre as she stepped out in London to grab a newspaper and some milk, and had wrapped up warm with a cosy jacket and colourful scarf thrown around her neck.
At one point, Fearne was snapped appearing to smile, as she walked alongside her daughter Honey.
This is the first time the 43-year-old presenter has been pictured since announcing the separation from her husband of 10 years.
On Friday, Fearne took to Instagram to announce: ‘It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage.’
She added: ‘Our priority has been, and will always be, our children.
‘We ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time.’
The former couple, who met in Ibiza in 2011 and married in July 2014, share two children together, Rex and Honey.
Fearne previously spoke about going through ‘rough patches’ with her then-husband, writing in 2019: ‘Love takes hard work – and no one wants to hear that.’
In a resurfaced column for Red Magazine, she continued: ‘I was trying to keep my own career going while looking after our kids and we were both desperately clinging on to our marriage.’
She said she and Jesse had fought in a local park, and their row ended in tears.
Fearne continued: ‘In the midst of this gargantuan row, I think we both wondered where the love had gone and worried that it might not come back.’
The news of their split came just days after Fearne announced that she underwent surgery for a benign jaw tumour.
Earlier this month, she initially said she would be ‘out of action for a bit’ due to surgery, explaining: ‘I felt a lump under my ear on my jawline a while ago now but this year noticed it was growing.
‘Turns out it’s a benign tumour and another small one above it on the saliva gland.
‘I’m feeling positive about it all and will take the opportunity to rest and slow right down.’
She later updated fans, saying: ‘Operation went really well. Recovering and resting. Thanks so much for all the kind messages.’
