A flight attendant accused of taping an iPhone to an airplane toilet seat and recording a teenage girl allegedly also filmed four other underaged females.
American Airlines attendant Estes Carter Thompson III, 36, was arrested after allegedly recording a 14-year-old girl using the restroom on flight 1441 from Charlotte to Boston in September. The teen noticed the phone taped to the toilet lid with stickers and ‘seat broken’ written across them and told her parents.
It has since emerged that Thompson allegedly had recordings of four other young girls using the plane lavatories.
The FBI examined Thompson’s devices and iCloud and found material of girls aged 7, 9, 11 and 14, and pornography generated by AI.
‘Agents have located additional evidence of Thompson’s sexual interest in children within the account,’ stated court documents obtained by the Daily Mail.
‘For example, agents have located hundreds of images of child pornography, which appear to have been created through an artificial intelligence.’
Thompson was arrested in January in Lynchburg, Virginia, and on April 26 was indicted on a count of attempted sexual exploitation of children and a count of possession of images of child sexual abuse depicting a prepubescent minor.
A lawyer for Thompson, who is under federal custody, declined to comment after the indictment.
