Former Bond Girl, Jane Seymour was forced to flee her home as wildfires broke out in Malibu, California coming ‘right up to my house’.

The 73-year-old star rushed out after a call from her partner John Zambetti’s son Johnny warning them about a blaze on Monday night at 10.50pm.

Residents, such as Cher and Dick Van Dyke, have been evacuating the area as over 4,000 acres were ravaged by wind-driven flames.

City officials confirmed that 14 buildings have been destroyed, with 13 damaged in what has been called the Franklin Fire.

James Bond legend, Jane revealed she left with nothing but the clothes she was wearing and has been sleeping at friends’ homes ever since.

On the red carpet of the British American Business Council (BABC) annual Christmas luncheon, the Wedding Crashers actress recalled the week.

Johnny, who lives in Serra Retreat, had called the couple after he saw a glow through the curtains, opening them to reveal ’10ft flames’ outside.

‘[He] called us immediately and said, “Get out. Get out”. We all got out just in time because of that,’ Jane shared.

Her house ‘smells of smoke’ but was thankfully not damaged as fire trucks showed up quickly and ‘saved’ them.

She added: ‘We’re just so grateful. The job the fire brigade did is beyond belief.

When asked about whether she believes anything happens after we die, she said to The Times: ‘I have no idea. I do know that I left my body [after the near-lethal antibiotics].

‘I did see the white light and I did look down and quite clearly see and hear everyone screaming and trying to resuscitate me, which they were able to do.

‘But when you’re out of your body, everything goes very calm.’
