Former Emmerdale star Isobel Steele looks worlds away from her Liv Dingle role, two years on since her dramatic exit.
In truly emotional scenes to coincide with the ITV soap’s 50th anniversary in 2022, we saw a catastrophic storm wreak havoc on the quaint Yorkshire village – claiming a number of locals’ lives.
Dramatic scenes saw her swept up against David’s Shop as a caravan came hurtling down Main Street and landed on top of her. Husband Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) was able to find safety, though Liv was ultimately crushed by the vehicle.
Paramedics had warned that if they moved her, she would drastically lose blood and die regardless.
Isobel later told Metro that she was planning to pursue a career in the music industry: ‘’ve always wanted to do it’ she explained.
‘It was just time, I didn’t have the time to figure out how to release things properly.’
‘It feels like a new chapter, new things to talk about. I’m slowly burning through the songs I’ve written because I’ve written too many now, I’m trying to get them off my chest and get them out.
‘I’m really looking forward to it and hopefully getting a bit better at the marketing side of things.’
Now she’s unveiled a shaggy mullet-inspired hair-do on Instagram, with many fans expressing their love for the new cut.
Former co-star Eden Taylor-Draper, who plays Belle King wrote in the comments section: ‘She’s a cool girl.’
One fan added: ‘hair is slaying omg.’
‘THE HAIR. IS. STUNNNINNGGGG’ added another.
The snaps show her living it up in Bologna, northern Italy. It seems that she’s in the celebratory mood, as her new single Sheff (released under the name Izzy Steele) is now available to download.
