From season 3 made a popular fan romance come true at a brutal cost. Given the many horrors that From‘s characters constantly have to face in the Town, romance is often not at the forefront of the series. At the same time, romance has blossomed and been rekindled in the Town. Ellis Stevens (Corteon Moore) and Fatima (Pegah Ghafoori) would never have met, let alone fallen in love and gotten married, if they had not become trapped in the Town.
When the Town trapped Marielle (Kaelen Ohm), she was unexpectedly reunited with her fiancée, Kristi Miller (Chloe Van Landschoot), who had been missing for months. Meanwhile, Tabitha Matthews (Catalina Sandino Moreno) and Jim Matthews (Eion Bailey) were preparing to get divorced before they became stranded in the Town with their children but have since rebuilt some of their marriage. Out of these relationships and some of From‘s best single characters, some popular fan romances have formed. The From season 3 ending makes one a reality, but only through one of the show’s equally twisted and shocking revelations.

It Gives New Meaning To Being Careful What You Wish For
Tabitha and Jade Herrera (David Alpay) getting together was a popular fan romance despite Tabitha still being married to Jim. From season 3’s reincarnation reveal technically fulfills this wish as it becomes clear that Tabitha and Jade were together in their past lives and had a daughter who was killed and became one of the “Anghkooey” children. Tabitha and Jade have been reincarnated many times over the years, including as Miranda (Sarah Booth) and as Christopher (Thom Payne), as they try to save the children and set them free.

Due to the reincarnation twist, the original versions of Tabitha and Jade were actually together long before she was reincarnated as Tabitha and became romantically involved with Jim. This revelation is not the triumph that Tabitha and Jade’s shippers may have expected it to be. It is instead deeply tragic given that Tabitha and Jade’s young daughter was murdered, and they have been repeatedly trying and failing to save her and the other children who were killed. This journey includes Tabitha and Jade suffering and dying numerous times as well.

Now that Tabitha and Jade remember their history together, and with the Man in the Yellow Suit (Douglas E. Hughes) killing Jim in the From season 3 finale, Tabitha and Jade’s past-life romance could be rekindled in season 4. Especially in seasons 2 and 3, Tabitha and Jade had a kind of chemistry that she never had with Jim. Part of this chemistry was their shared determination to unravel the Town’s secrets to find a way home, which includes finding meaning in details that others overlook.
A Tabitha and Jade romance will definitely lead to many complications if it becomes more fully realized in

season 4.
If Tabitha and Jade’s past-life romance is revived, this will be incredibly challenging for Julie Matthews (Hannah Cheramy) and Ethan Matthews (Simon Webster to accept), especially as they grieve the loss of their father. Since Julie is a “story walker,” she may use time travel as a way to try and escape being around her mother and Jade, although she will discover alternate versions of them when traveling to other points in the Town’s history. A Tabitha and Jade romance will definitely lead to many complications if it becomes more fully realized in From season 4.
