Although Frozen 2 is one of Disney’s best sequels to date, some considered it a disappointment compared to the first film. Frozen 3 can rectify this, bringing the franchise back to its original glory — and getting its music stuck in everyone’s heads yet again.

It’s hard to say how Frozen 3 can accomplish this, but it would likely need to match “Let It Go” with another hit sung by Menzel. The emotion she puts into her performances simply can’t be matched, and she hits high notes in many of her best songs. Of course, Frozen 3 could attempt to top “Let It Go” with a song sung by Elsa and Anna. We haven’t had a proper collaboration between Menzel and Kristen Bell, and that could prove compelling enough to beat Elsa’s solo bop.

It did this without including a phenomenon like “Let It Go.” With that in mind, Frozen 3 can do the same. If it fails to top “Let It Go,” it may not take home as many accolades as the first film. However, it can still bring in a massive box office haul, proving a success for Disney.

The most important thing is that Frozen 3 features an impressive soundtrack, even if none of its songs land quite as well as “Let It Go.” This is part of the reason Frozen 2 is still such a hit. Songs like “Into the Unknown” and “Show Yourself” boosted the film’s popularity, ensuring it still stuck with viewers. The fact that people love Anna and Elsa also guarantees that any Frozen sequel will be a success for Disney. Needless to say, Frozen 3 shouldn’t worry too much about competing with the previous films.
