Governor Sim Fubara and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike lost their various Local Government Areas (LGAs) to an unknown Action People’s Party (APP) in Saturday’s council area elections in Rivers state.
Both Fubara and Wike are of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
So far, the outcome of the controversial election revealed that APP won 22 chairmanship positions out of LGAs.
Announcing the results, the Chief Election Officer of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) Justice Adolphus Enebeli declared said the outcome of Etche is on hold as collation of results is ongoing.
