Giovanni Pernice has insisted ‘I’m back baby’ with some big plans for a UK comeback in 2025.

The former Strictly Come Dancing professional, who has been appearing on Italy’s version of the hit show, is keeping busy after the BBC released its findings of a months-long investigation into his conduct on the programme.

The probe came after allegations made against him by former dance partner Amanda Abbington.

While the BBC issued an apology to her while upholding some of her complaints, they cleared the 34-year-old dancer of the most serious ‘physical aggression’ allegations.

Now, Giovanni is reportedly set to appear on Channel 4 series Celebrity Hunted early next year, as famous faces go on the run and try to evade a team of experts for 28 days.

He actually shot the programme in 2022, but it was shelved after Amanda’s allegations and the subsequent investigation.

It’s said bosses have decided to keep him in the show, and the series is set to air in January 2025.

‘It was absolutely right to shelve Hunted while the BBC took the time to unravel the claims against Giovanni,’ an insider told The Sun. ‘It was filmed in 2022 and due to screen last year, but will now air in early 2025.’

That’s not all, as Giovanni has also unveiled his Last Dance tour dates which will run across the UK from January to May.

‘I’m back baby,’ he wrote as he confirmed the dates on Instagram over the weekend.

And next summer, he and Strictly judge Anton Du Beke are hitting the road for their 2025 Together Again tour, which kicks off in June.

Sharing the poster for the event on social media, Giovanni wrote: ‘BREAKING NEWS! If you were wondering now is confirmed! The double act is back on the road!

Anton also shared the post, writing: ‘Exciting news my loves! I’m so happy to announce the double act is going back out on the road! @giovannipernice and I are going on tour again next summer.’

In his previous response to the BBC probe’s result, Giovanni recently said in an Instagram post he was ‘happy’ he had been cleared of the serious allegations after a ‘difficult’ few months.
