Celebrity Gogglebox viewers have been left gagging over stomach-churning scenes, which even saw Rylan Clark forced to walk away.
Viewers and celebrities including Rylan and his mum Linda, Danny and Dani Dyer, and Rio and Kate Ferdinand were treated to a variety of clips from recent TV moments, but one was a little too shocking to watch.
The stars watched one story from TLC’s My Strange Addiction: Still Addicted? which followed a man who has eaten more than 4300 pounds of raw meat over four years.
Weston explained how he was addicted to eating raw meat, including organs like spleens, kidneys and livers.
He even eats raw chicken, and has managed to find a girlfriend who is just as tempted by the peculiar diet.
While Weston seems pretty happy with his food choices – despite doctors’ warnings otherwise – those watching were not as convinced.
‘#Gogglebox that is so gross, I can’t watch,’ @rjc99999 commented on X.
@Rosie12_1994 branded it ‘disgusting’, while @DAF_MUFC said: ‘Holy Jesus I’m going to throw up.’
Rylan was just as disgusted, walking away from the TV as his mum Linda hid her face from the cameras.
When Weston revealed that he had eaten 100 raw chickens in four years and ‘never been sick once’, EastEnders actor Danny and his daughter Dani were both left exclaiming: ‘No, you can’t eat raw chicken!’
‘I wonder how this started, how did it start for him,’ Springwatch star Chris Packham meanwhile commented.
Reacting to Weston saying he had found love with Shelby, a woman who also eats raw meat, Rylan fumed: ‘How the f**k is that bloke sniffing a chicken’s a**hole and eats raw chicken, and I’m still single!’
‘I’d be worried for Shelby, because what if he wants a snack in the night and her leg is sticking out of the quilt,’ Danny commented.
Chris added: ‘Let’s hope they’re not reproducing.’
He then blasted: ‘I mean honestly he is eating an environmental catastrophe. He’s a one-man planet destroyer.
‘He’s chomping down on the world’s biodiversity and pumping CO2 into the atmosphere, one mouthful at a time.’
Celebrity Gogglebox airs Fridays at 9pm on Channel 4.
