Her first full-length album, “My Life, I Will,” was released in 2019. “Kongmuni,” her second studio album, was released in 2021. She has previously been on radio shows, singing reality TV shows, and variety shows such as SBS’s ‘The Trot Show,’ KBS1’s ‘AM Plaza,’ MBC TV’s ‘Hangout with Yoo,’ and ‘Gayo Stage.’
It wasn’t until 2023 when she began participating on the KBS music television show “Immortal Songs 2,” that she became a household name.

Haesoo, a 29-year-old Korean trot singer, reportedly committed himself less than a month after another musician, Moonbin, also from Korea, committed suicide at 25.
The corpse of Haesoo was found in her hotel room by hotel workers. South Korean authorities also recovered a suicide note. The police are withholding the singer’s identity.
She was set to perform on May 20th. Koreaboo, a South Korean news outlet, reported her death after getting phone calls from event organizers stating that Haesoo had died and would not be attending.
South Koreans like trot music, and Haesoo pioneered the genre. She debuted in 2019 with the release of her first EP, My Life I Will, and soon earned a following.
She became well-known in South Korea following performances on The Trot Show, AM Plaza, and Gayo Stage. Her popularity increased when she sang on “Immortal Song.”
