There are health fears for Fiz Dobbs (Jenny McAlpine) in Coronation Street next week, after she starts experiencing dizzy spells.
It’s been a stressful few months for the factory machinist, who has had to contend with having husband Tyrone Dobbs’ (Alan Halsall) ex Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) back in Weatherfield.
She’s had to step back as he’s forged a bond with his previously unknown son Dorrin, all while wrestling with her own insecurities about Tyrone and Alina.
To add to that, her teenage daughter Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) has started to go off the rails, and last week’s episodes saw Fiz’s birthday celebrations ruined when Hope’s school informed her and Tyrone she’d been using vapes.
Next week, Tyrone plans a romantic dinner to make up for her disappointing birthday, but her mind is elsewhere after she experiences dizziness at work.
A worried Fiz books in for a doctor’s appointment, where she later gets some shock news – but what is it?
Back home, Tyrone looks after his wife and tells the kids she is unwell.
However, his concerns about Fiz are soon put to one side when he picks up Hope’s pencil case and a vape falls out.
Tyrone and Fiz are stunned when a cocky Hope then reveals she stole it from the corner shop – will they be able to get through to her about her recent behaviour?
Coronation Street airs these scenes from Monday 30 September at 8m on ITV1 and ITVX.
