Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Monday’s (June 24) episode that is now available to view on Channel 4 streaming. The episode in question will air on E4 on Tuesday June 25 at 7pm.
Despite claiming to be nothing like his twisted twin brother, Jeremy Blake (Jeremy Sheffield) is harbouring a big secret.
The newcomer, who bears a striking resemblance to dead Patrick Blake, rocked up in the eponymous village last week after he crossed paths with Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith), who feared that she was hallucinating her dead dad.
But a trip to the hospital with the newbie proved that Jeremy is very much real, with Sienna (Anna Passey) similarly stunned to see the face of her deceased father once again.
Jeremy clarified the situation, revealing that he’s Patrick’s estranged brother, having lost touch with the monstrous headmaster many years before his death. Fearful that he could harbour similarities to Patrick, Sienna insisted that he keep his distance, urging Dilly to stay away from him.
Dilly, however, ignored her sister’s wishes and thus invited Jeremy to live with them at Oakdale Drive once he was discharged from the hospital.
Sienna was livid with her sibling, who pleaded with her to give Jeremy a chance, but things were complicated when the former high school teacher uncovered what she believed to be a weapon in his carrier bag.
Jeremy, however, had an explanation for such a thing.
The supposed weapon is actually a gardening tool and he makes a living as a gardener. His explanation added up, with Sienna apologetic and, after giving it some thought, she invited the newcomer to stay the night at the flat.
Jeremy was bowled over and took her up on the offer but he proved incredibly secretive about his tattoo – hiding it from Sienna when she returned to the kitchen grab a drink for the twins.
The tattoo in question read: ‘20.08.84’.
What that means exactly remains a mystery.
Jeremy was very careful to ensure that Sienna didn’t see the tattoo, so is it something that she would recognise? Is this date significant to her? And why exactly has Jeremy been cagey about the reason for his and Patrick’s falling out?
It’s safe to say there is a lot more going on here than meets the eye!
