How To Catch Pikachu Ph.D.
To obtain Pikachu Ph.D., players will need to win 100 Showcases in the mobile game. This is much easier said than done. When players win 100 of these competitions, they will be given the opportunity to catch Pikachu Ph.D. The Pokemon won’t be able to run away, so there should be no fear of missing the monster once it appears on screen.
How To Win Showcases
Showcases in Pokemon GO pit players against one another to see who can accomplish a specific goal the best. These goals always revolve around caught Pokemon and can have goals like “Largest X Pokemon” or “Smallest X Pokemon“. Players will select the Pokemon that best fits the topic and then need to win against any other player that competes. It is not easy to win a Showcase, especially in larger cities where the number of Pokemon submitted can reach 200+ for each Showcase. With enough perseverance, players can eventually chip away at the 100 victories needed to secure Pikachu Ph.D.!

At the time of writing, Pikachu Ph.D. cannot be shiny.
