How To Get & Use Enemy Skill Materia

Materia are powerful items that allow people in the world of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth to call upon the magic of the earth and use it. In the game, this is true, with Materia being equipped with characters’ weapons and armor to determine what spells they can use in battle.

Materia can range greatly in terms of use, with some being simple passive stat boosts and others offering multiple spells for the character to choose from in battle. While just about every Materia can be leveled up with AP, the Enemy Skill Materia can also be leveled up in a unique way.

How To Get The Enemy Skill Materia

After activating the first Remnawave tower for Chadley in Chapter 2, he will give players Access to the Combat Simulator. Going in and completing “Biological Intel: Know Thine Enemy” will give players the Enemy Skill Materia. Of the characters selected to complete this encounter, none can be incapacitated, otherwise the challenge is failed.

How To Use The Enemy Skill Materia

The Enemy Skill Materia gives players access to a wide range of abilities that can be unlocked and used when this Materia is equipped. Back in the combat Simulator, press R1 to move to the Biology menu. Unlocking and completing these challenges will give the Materia access to new abilities that the character will have added to their Ability list once the challenge is completed. Some of these skills will require the Materia to be at a certain level, so be sure to equip it on a party member right away.

How To Get More Enemy Skills

To unlock and complete the Biology Combat Assignments, players will need to Access various enemies throughout the regions of the world. The requirements for each assignment can be found towards the bottom right of the screen when hovering over it in the Biology menu. Many of these assignments will also require players to find and defeat the classified enemies of a region, along with accessing just about, if not every, enemy in that region. For the quickest results, be sure to Access every enemy as you progress the game, as this will get players most of the way to unlocking every assignment.

Players having to find and access just about every enemy in the game will be presented with lots of opportunities to earn XP and power up their Materia. Increasing the Party Level is also a great way to making everyone stronger for the many difficult fights ahead.
