Baldur’s Gate 3: What To Do After Beating The Game

Here’s all the things you can do in BG3 after you have beaten the game.

One quest that truly stands out is when Mizora asks you to find Zariel’s asset in the Mind Flayer Colony of Act 2 in exchange for Wyll’s Pact. While he knows this isn’t a true out, it can help him out a lot. Here’s all you need to know about Zariel’s asset.

Who Is Zariel’s Asset?

If you want to help out Wyll (or romance him) you’re going to have to deal with Mizora, the devil he made a pact with. Ultimately, if you want him to be able to break his pact with her (and later go on to save his father), you need to make sure you save Zariel’s asset in Act 2. As you reach Moonrise Towers, you will learn that Zariel has an asset that is trapped inside the towers. You will need to save this asset if you want to help Wyll out. While you’ll be told about this asset earlier in the Act, you won’t be able to do anything until the very end of Act 2, right before the final fight with Ketheric Thorm.

Upon finding the asset, you will learn that it is none other than Mizora herself. If you ask her, she will mention that she was overtaken by the Shadow Curse and that when she awoke, she was inside the Mind Flayer Pod in the middle of the Mind Flayer Colony. While this may be true, it isn’t completely confirmed if this is actually how she got stuck there or if something else happened.

Where To Find Zariel’s Asset

Thankfully, finding Zariel’s asset isn’t difficult at all. Once you reach the Mind Flayer Colony in Act 2, all you need to do is follow the path. She can be found in the area shown on the map above. This area is known as the Mind Flayer Colony’s Tadpoling Center. Once here, you will have a few options:

  • Help Mizora out of the Mind Flayer Pod
  • Kill Mizora

If Mizora dies, Wyll will die as well. You must let her out.
