The beef between Nollywood actors Ayo Makun and Deyemi Okanlawon doesn’t seem to be dying down soon.
The entertainers are currently beefing over who has the most swag in the industry, and Ayo Makun has issued a warning to him. Taking to his Instagram page, he stated that he has no issue with young actors trying to copy his swag on and off set, but his only problem is with Deyemi Okanlawon copying his style.
Issuing a message, he told him to learn to copy his style responsibly should he want to imitate him.
“I have no issues with young actors trying to copy why swagger on and off the set of The Waiter. BUT @deyemitheactor, if you want to copy your MENTOR, please learn how to copy responsibly The Waiter Movie”.
In his comment section, Deyemi noted how Tinubu copied Awolowo and as such, he is free to copy his ancestral mentor.
“Ahan, this one no enter na. Even Tinubu copy Awolowo. If I no copy my ancestral mentor who I wan copy?”.

Kemi Filani reported a month back that AY had called out Deyemi for bullying him. He noted how, despite being ten years older than Deyemi, he wouldn’t let him be, as he pointed out how Deyemi was always competing with him on almost everything, from his movie-making over 100m in the cinemas to who is finer to asking the director to reduce his fight scenes to shine more as the hero.
Ayo admitted that Deyemi has more chest and more breasts, but he doesn’t believe he was finer than him, and Deyemi responded with an apology.
In other news, Ayo Makun shared a deep message on the detriment of social media, which he compared to the new King Kong, where feelings are now more important than objective facts. He noted how a foolish person gets praised when he says something the audience likes, but when a wise man says something contrary, he gets persecuted.
Speaking on the funny part of social media, he stated that people carry their ignorance with a lot of class and confidence based on what they see or feel.
The comedian also shared a deep message on the importance of peace, which he stated can only be achieved through coexistence. He revealed that he has learned how to quit contractions and start construction, and added that when one stops expecting people to be perfect, they can like them for who they are.
