Nollywood actress and movie producer Destiny Etiko has lamented over the increase in fuel prices.
Taking to her Instagram page, she questioned what was going on in the country as she expressed how she thought the protest was to help salvage the economic hardship in the country. Questioning what was the way forward, Destiny noted how it’s becoming hard for a normal layman to eat three square meals.

Destiny isn’t the only celebrity crying out over the increase in fuel price. A few days back, Lizzy Gold had noted how the price of new petrol pump was now N1000 for a litre and foodstuffs in the market are extremely expensive. Questioning how people were surviving, she noted how many were hungry dying, she made a passionate appeal to the President, Urging him to do something as she noted how the citizens look up to him.
Weeks back, Destiny Etiko had applauded Nigerians for their patience amid the economic hardship. In the wake of the protest in Kenya, she noted how, despite the situation in the country, we still wake up with smiles on our faces, pushing every day. She crowned Nigerians as the most patient country in the world and declared the citizens the VIPs.
Yoruba actor Saidi Balogun had cried out over the economic hardship and situation of things in the country. The veteran questioned if there was no functional price control or price regulatory agency in Nigeria. He further questioned how they can cushion the effects of inflation, as he noted how things are getting out of hand.
