I’m A Celebrity star Kim Woodburn has revealed she went under the knife after watching herself bathe in the ITV show’s controversial jungle shower.

The 82-year-old underwent a breast reduction operation because she felt her ‘huge knockers’ were ‘hanging badly’ when she was a campmate in 2009.

The Celebrity Big Brother star told the Daily Star while promoting Whichbingo.co.uk: ‘I’ve always had huge knockers; they were very big; they were hanging badly.

‘When I saw this after the jungle, I thought, “Oh, God, Kim they look awful love.”

‘So I went and got them made smaller. So, now listen up, if I take my bra off they’re firm and pert just like an 18-year-old’s.’

The How Clean Is Your House? presenter also told the publication she had other plastic surgery procedures.

‘A bit of surgery has come into play,’ she said.

‘I’m also not sitting here going to say, what all celebs say that look very good for their age “I’ve had nothing done”. Oh, shut up, of course you have.’

Earlier this year, Kim told The Sun in association with Press Box PR she had spent £35,000 on anti-ageing procedures, including Botox, a neck lift and eye lift.

‘I don’t regret it,’ Kim admitted.

‘I’m not going to insult anyone’s intelligence by saying ‘I’m 82 and I look like this naturally.

‘Don’t be ridiculous. The secret is surgery.’

I’m A Celebrity’s shower scenes have repeatedly come under fire over the years.

They were popularised in 2006 when Myleene Klass’s dip in the jungle shower in a white bikini went viral and became one of the ITV show’s most famous moments. She later auctioned off the swimsuit and raised £7,500 for charity.

However, Metro columnist and freelance journalist Emmie Harrison-West said she felt ‘uncomfortable’ as cameras ‘panned over’ Myleene Klass’s body nearly 10 years ago.

They said: ‘It felt like every ounce of her privacy was removed from her, with her most intimate moments broadcast to the nation, and it was equally grim to see her sexualised at the time.’

Her sentiments are echoed by Metro columnist Nicola Thorp, who said: ‘A bikini isn’t an invitation for perverts. A bikini is a way to avoid being naked on national telly while maintaining personal hygiene.

‘Our bodies are private, not secret. No one wants to have to shower in their t-shirt and cargo pants, but they shouldn’t be subjected to sexist remarks if they choose to do so in a swimsuit.’

Kim was runner-up when she joined the line-up of I’m A Celebrity 15 years ago. This Morning star Gino D’Acampo was declared King of the Jungle.

I’m A Celebrity continues tomorrow from 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
