Intel Arrow Lake CPUs may debut at Computex 2024 keynote

We’re still fairly early in the year, but the big tech reveal season is coming up quickly. The event most worth paying attention to is Computex. In its usual home of Taipei, this one kicks off June 4. The headline, however, could be that Intel Arrow Lake CPUs may well make their debut at a keynote speech.

This year’s event theme is artificial intelligence in the form of machine learning. Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger will give an annual presentation on the brand’s upcoming lineup. The announcement states that it’ll “showcase Intel’s next-generation data centre and client computing products bringing AI Everywhere by making the technology accessible through exceptionally engineered platforms, secure solutions and open ecosystems support.”

Apparently, Gelsinger will detail how Intel’s AI portfolio “unlocks new possibilities in the data centre and cloud and across the world’s network and edge applications, and how it ushers in the age of the AI PC, transforming the future of productivity and creativity.” We anticipate that means we’ll get to see Arrow Lake CPUs in action. Remember, though; even if Intel finally displays it, that means very little when it comes to release dates.

Intel Arrow Lake CPUs should succeed the current bunch and bring with them some interesting new changes. Many rumours suggest Team Blue will ditch hyperthreading and also potentially use less power. Details are thin on the ground at the moment, but this event could well be the big turning point.

For fans awaiting the series, it will be an event that you’ll want to keep a very close eye on. The event could be interesting in other ways, too. The main topics that will be covered are AI computing, advanced connectivity, future mobility, immersive reality, sustainability, and innovations. There’ll be a lot of companies showing off their devices and ideas there, and while it’s unlikely that everyone reading this will be heading to Taipei to check it out in person, there should be plenty of news to feast on.
