Rumours have reignited that Kylie Jenner is expecting a baby with Hollywood beau Timothée Chalamet, but what is fact and what is fiction?
The reality star shocked the world when she publicly confirmed her relationship to indie darling Timothée in September 2023 (at a Beyonce concert no less), with the beginning of their romance tracing as far back as April 2023.
The unconventional pair are all too used to battling outlandish speculation, with many fans originally theorising that the coupling was simply a PR move from the media mogul behind the Kardashian-Jenner success – Kris Jenner.
Despite the scepticism, Timothée, 28, and Kylie, 26, are hard at work proving they are the real deal with plenty of PDA while flexing their power couple status at major events like the US Open and the Golden Globes.
But as one rumour dies down, another rises from the ashes. Cue the internet having a meltdown over the prospect that Kylie could be pregnant with her third child, this time with Timothée.
Kylie already shares two children, Stormi, six, and Arie, two, with her ex-partner Travis Scott.
On Tuesday, social media account Pop Tingz threw X into a frenzy after posting that Kylie is rumoured to be pregnant in a now-viral post.
Fans shared their shock and confusion at the news.
‘If kylie jenner is really pregnant with timothee chalamets kid the world is a simulation,’ X user @crisisofmyfaith wrote.
‘If Kylie is really pregnant with Timothee’s baby then… wow. The devil works hard but Kris Jenner??? Kris Jenner works harder,’ @CHXN3L added, still on the PR relationship train.
As one user @gilinskyxangel asked ‘why everyone says that kylie jenner is pregnant?’, here’s everything we know about the rumours blowing up the internet.
When did the Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet pregnancy rumours begin?
At the end of March, Timothée and Kylie sparked curiosity over Easter weekend as the Kardashian-Jenner clan gathered to celebrate, with plenty of footage for hungry fans to feast upon.
In one video, Kim Kardashian shared an extravagantly decorated Easter table adorned with name cards. But as one Reddit user pointed out, the card next to Kylie is blurred out with some claiming the first two letters of Timothée’s name are still visible.
Kylie also avoided sharing any snaps of herself from the day, although she has uploaded photos of herself to Instagram since.
Then, on April 2, comedian Daniel Tosh stoked the flames on his podcast the Tosh Show on which he recounted claims that Jenner was planning to announce her pregnancy during the season five finale of their Hulu reality series, The Kardashians.
According to Daniel, 48, he went to a ‘grocery store in Malibu’ and spoke with an unnamed employee.
He asked said employee why they were closed yesterday to which he supposedly responded that they rented out the entire store and acted like they were grocery shopping.
‘This was the scene that apparently happened: Kylie reveals that she’s pregnant again with Timothée’s kid. What a bombshell,’ Daniel concluded in his retelling.
Although Daniel’s story is entirely unverified, it was enough for fans to run with it. However, sources close to the production told Us Weekly that the Kardashian-Jenner’s didn’t film their season finale, or any scenes for that matter, in a grocery store.
But this was not enough to douse the fire for long.
Why have the rumours returned?
On April 20, the Kardashian-Jenner family attended a memorial service for Kris’ late sister Karen Houghton.
Karen’s daughter, Natalie Zettel, posted a series of snaps from the day alongside the caption: ‘So blessed to have all the love and support from family and friend.’
One of the photos included a group shot of the Kardashian-Jenner’s dressed in formal black clothing, aside from Jenner who was sporting an out-of-character black tracksuit, according to the US Sun.
A tracksuit that looked suspiciously familiar to the one Jenner was regularly spotted wearing during her first pregnancy with Stormi.
To compound the speculation Natalie then reposted the images, this time without the group snap.
Neither Kylie nor Timothée have been forthcoming to refute or confirm the nearly month-long rumour, leaving many wondering what is truly going on behind the scenes.
