“It Has Been Such A Terrible Time For Me And My Family” – Yvonne Jegede Recounts Ordeal As Her Father Battles Partial Stroke

It has been a tough time for Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede, whose father is currently battling a partial stroke.

Sharing a video of her and her son paying a visit to him at the hospital, she revealed that it had been a terrible time for her and her family, but they prevailed. She noted how she lost two family members last month and had a scare, yet she kept smiling.

Yvonne expressed gratitude to her Maker for giving her father, who is currently hospitalised with a partial stroke, a speedy recovery. She admonished her fans and followers to constantly check up on their parents as she revealed that she got 2 messages from her friends saying their parents were going through a similar experience.

“It has been such a terrible time for me and my family, but we prevail. From losing two family members last month to having this scare, I don’t know how I keep smiling, but I have to.
We bless the most high for a speedy recovery.
While this was going on, I got a message from 2 friends saying their parents were going through the same. Check on your parents, guys”.

Months back, despite her crashed marriage, Yvonne expressed gratitude to God for her son as she pondered on how her life would have become if she hadn’t given birth before the marriage hit the rock.

She disclosed that she would have killed herself as she sent a message to her mini-me for making her life complete.

Recall that Yvonne was married to the father of her son, Abounce Olakunle Fawole, but their marriage ended after one year.

In an interview, Yvonne Jegede disclosed that her ex-husband is a deadbeat father who hasn’t shown any form of support or interest in the life of their son, Xavier. She recounted how Olakunle Fawole only showed up once to see the child after she gave him an ultimatum and how he doesn’t celebrate their son on his birthdays.

Speaking on heartbreak, she revealed she was in love with someone who didn’t love her back.

Quizzing her fans, she questioned which heartbreak was worse – to love someone and not get loved back or to not be in love with someone who loves you, as she has experienced both and didn’t know which is worse.
