Jeremy Clarkson has made it clear he has absolutely no plans to retire after being delivered an invitation for a care home.

First starting his TV career as a presenter of the original format of Top Gear in 1988, Clarkson went on to host his own talk show, as well as The Grand Tour Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.

Over the past few years, he’s also been followed by cameras for the reality series, Clarkson’s Farm, which follows his haphazard attempts to run his own 1,000-acre Oxfordshire farm, Diddly Squat.

Despite approaching the retirement age, the 64-year-old has not minced his words after a pamphlet for a retirement home was sent to him.

Posting a photo of a letter from Brio Retirement Living, which had the message ‘Dear occupier, your exclusive invitation is attached’ on the front, Jeremy made it clear he’s not moving anytime soon.

He simply captioned his post: ‘You can f*** off.’

The letter and Jeremy’s response left many of his followers joking the local council or even his farm manager Kalab Cooper were conspiring.

‘The council is at it again or Kaleb just really try to keep Clarkson out of the fields,’ one person commented.

‘Oh, Kaleb is gonna love this one,’ someone else shared.

‘Charlie literally begging you to open it,’ another added, referencing land agent Charlie Ireland who might be ready to have a break from Jeremy.

Although Jeremy clearly has no desire to slow down anytime soon, he has picked up a somewhat unfortunate nickname from a new set of fans of his Amazon Prime series.

Last week it was revealed that Clarkson’s Farm has also become a bona-fide hit in China.

New data showed the full series had been watched over 5,000,000 times on the local streaming service BiliBili, according to the Guardian.

Chinese review site Douban has also scored season one of the show a whopping 9.6 out of 10 based on almost 80,000 reviews from users.

The third season is steadily catching up with an 80% five-star rating from almost 9,000 reviewers.

The over 3,000 written reviews for the latest season raved about its hilarious scenes and approach to the harsh realities of farming life, but fans have also given Jeremy plenty of backhanded compliments.

Many have called him ‘old man’, with a surprising level of energy while another said he was ‘unexpectedly good looking’.

It comes after the series was named the second most-watched show of 2024 on all major streaming services in the UK, being streamed by 5.1 million people.

Clarkson’s Farm is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
