Mayor of Kingstown Season 3, Episode 4 Picks Up An Ongoing Threat
Bombs Have Been Going Off All Season.
The synopsis notes that Mike is desperate to figure out the source of the bombings, even to the point that he’s willing to extend an unlikely olive branch.
The bomb being discussed in the Mayor of Kingstown season 3 clip reflects an ongoing threat. Back in the premiere episode, during the funeral of Miriam McLusky (Dianne Wiest), a bomb went off. Then in episode 3, a car bomb explodes in the Kingstown police parking lot. Though the bomb is thought to be some form of retaliation, it’s clearly a threat that will carry through to the remaining episodes.
“Ragdoll” confirms the centrality of the bomb plot. The synopsis notes that Mike is desperate to figure out the source of the bombings, even to the point that he’s willing to extend an unlikely olive branch. Still, in the short clip, Mike manages to put on a nonchalant face as he converses with Tyler. It’s only when the youngest McLusky brother leaves that, for a moment, Mike’s true discomfort seems to peek through.
