Jackass legends Johnny Knoxville and WeeMan were escorted off stage by security after crashing a show in Hollywood.

The two TV and film icons, who rose to fame due to their outrageous and often dangerous antics on the infamous stunt show, are still keeping busy and they made an unadvertised appearance at the Netflix Is A Joke festival over the weekend.

It all went down when WWE superstar Sami Zayn was performing his first ever stand-up comedy set as part of the streaming platform’s annual event, and things took an awkward turn.

At one point during the show, a heckler referred to the Intercontinental Champion’s longterm friend and tag team partner as they shouted: ‘Where’s Kevin Owens to make you look interesting?’

After a brief back and forth, Sami invited the man up on stage, and it turned out to be none other than his WrestleMania 38 opponent Johnny in a moustache and wig.

‘You look like if the Wendy’s logo was on a plant based diet,’ he told Sami, as they reignited their wild wrestling feud two years after the latter had to be removed from the Jackass Forever premiere in similar scenes.

WWE superstar and current Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch was also part of proceedings, and she jokingly urged Johnny to say ‘one nice thing about Sami’.

He tried his best, but only mustered: ‘From my heart, I respect that you speak four languages. Arabic, French, English and “winey bitch!”‘

Sami lost his temper at this point, telling his security to ‘get this asshole off my stage’ as fans started to get into the surprise cameo.

‘I’m sorry. I’m truly sorry,’ Johnny apologised as he returned to the stage with what appeared to be a gift, with fans chanting ‘hug it out’ before warning Sami ‘it’s a trap’.

Sami threw the package to the floor and hugged Johnny, with WeeMan taking the chance to sneak onto the stage and punch him in the crotch, following it up with another huge bodyslam.

‘F-U Sami Zayn,’ Johnny shouted as they were both removed from the stage, while he later shared footage of the exchange on Instagram and continued to stay in character.

‘I heard that low and dirty @samizayn was ‘’performing’’ at the Avalon in Hollywood last Saturday night for #netflixisajoke, so @iamweeman and i decided to pay him a little visit,’ he wrote.

‘Since most of you reading this will have no idea who Sami Zayn is, he’s a perennially unlikable pro wrestler whose face i smashed in a couple of years ago at @wwe’s #wrestlemania.

‘And we were lucky to get any of this footage since SuckitSami’s bodyguards roughed my up my camerawoman @itschristianalopez for the footage.

‘Luckily Christiana took it back from the muscle heads but she is considering pressing charges. Also thanks to @beckylynchwwe, who I respect, for trying to calm an impossible situation.

‘So here you go, this is weeman and i at the Avalon ripping the scab off an old wound and watching sami wrestle with the fact that he’s not funny. or talented. or a good wrestler……’

He has continued to send him abuse on social media, although the fan favourite wrestler previously broke character (slightly) to admit he has some respect for Johnny after working with him in the ring in 2022.

‘So much of that whole programme was so unique and so memorable. I hope the fans remember it, but I will definitely remember it for the rest my career,’ he exclusively told Metro.co.uk.

‘[Johnny] doesn’t get the credit he deserves, even though I don’t like to give him credit because I don’t like him. But he did do a good job.’
