Katie Boulter has been knocked out of the French Open in the first-round, ending the British interest at Roland Garros.

The British No.1 was defeated by Paula Badosa 6-4, 5-7, 4-6.

It means that all six Brits competing in the singles have been eliminated in just the first three days of the tournament.

Earlier on Tuesday, Dan Evans was knocked out after losing in straight sets to 13th seed Holger Rune (6-4, 6-4, 6-4).

Andy Murray, in what was most likely his final French Open appearance before retirement, exited the competition on Sunday after losing in straight sets to Stan Wawrinka (6-4, 6-4, 6-2).

Cameron Norrie, Jack Draper and Harriet Dart were the others to be eliminated on clay.
