EastEnders actor Kellie Bright has revealed her friend’s animated reaction to Linda Carter being the Christmas Day killer.

Linda stabbed Keanu with a meat thermometer whilst he was throttling her pal Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), and the women, alongside four other of the Square’s leading ladies, buried his body under the floor of the café.

When Sharon jetted off to Australia, they panicked and realised that with less power to move the body, they’d have to cover it over with cement.

Upon her return this week, the floor caved in and Keanu’s remains have subsequently been found.

During Wednesday’s The One Show the soap actress, 47, said: ‘I did watch it at home on Christmas Day with my husband, my kids were in bed, finally, and my best friends were there.

‘My husband knew but my best friends didn’t, and they’re huge fans.’

She added: ‘And I was literally sat on my sofa next to my friend, and he was going, ‘Oh no! Oh no, no, no!’, like he could stop me by holding my hand. It was a really lovely moment actually, to watch their reaction.’

Tonight’s episode sees Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) paled as he realised that he’d been framed for the murder of Keanu by none other than Linda Carter who reported him to the police.

Linda, who killed Keanu at Christmas in a bid to save Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), took it upon herself to speak to the police again, following Stacey Slater’s (Lacey Turner) genius idea to frame Dean for the crime.

Dean, who raped Linda a decade ago, has got away with his crimes time after time, with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) adamant that Linda, who made one mistake in taking Keanu’s life, shouldn’t have to spend her life behind bars, especially given that Dean is still walking the streets.

With the walls closing in and Sharon still in police custody following the discovery of the body, the remaining five women orchestrated a watertight plan to pin the blame for Keanu’s death on Dean, with some assistance from legal hero Johnny (Charlie Suff).

The initial plan was to anonymously tip off the police but, following a run-in with Dean, Linda decided to take matters into her own hands as she headed to the station and informed the detective that she witnessed the rapist carrying something heavy – wrapped in a tarpaulin – into the cafe on Christmas night.
