Laura Anderson has slammed Gary Lucy after he shared a video with their baby girl, claiming the actor has only seen the tot ‘once this year’.

The former Love Island star, 35, shares one-year-old Bonnie with the Hollyoaks actor, 42, making her Gary’s fifth child, as he already has two daughters and two sons with his ex-wife, Natasha Gray.

This weekend, actor Gary felt the full wrath of Laura when he took to Instagram with a video in which he cuddles and plays with Bonnie.

‘The little things 🫶’, his caption read as the song Better Together by Jack Johnson plays in the background.

Taking to the comments, Laura hit out, seemingly accusing Gary of being an absent father.

‘Instead of posting videos of the one time you saw your daughter this year, can you please reply to my text from 2weeks ago please, that would be great 👍🏼’, she wrote.

Her comment quickly garnered hundreds of likes and generated a discussion.

A fan named alishaodris showed their support, writing: ‘must be so hard dealing with this 🥹🥹🥹 You’re an amazing mother and she will realise this when she’s older 🫶🏻’, to which Laura said: ‘thank you’.

Gary’s other children regularly feature on his page, where he boasts 317,000 followers.

This isn’t the first time Laura has fumed about her ex’s parenting.

In June, she responded to a troll who asked whether Bonnie ever sees her dad.

She penned: ‘Do you mean has her daddy seen her…. No he hasn’t since 2nd January if you would like to direct those questions to him as I have no control over the actions of others x’

The Scottish TV personality met Gary in 2022 on E4’s Celebs Go Dating.

It’s fair to say their romance has been anything but smooth sailing since, including a split last year before they appeared to reconcile just before Bonnie’s birth in September.

However, not long later, they parted ways again.

Laura, who appeared on ITV2’s Love Island in 2018, previously spoke about the prospect of welcoming her baby as a single mother.

In a column for OK Magazine, she said she didn’t feel ‘ready’ for a little one.

‘I’ve been putting a lot of things, such as a baby shower, off,’ she explained, ‘because I feel like I’m sort of grieving the life I thought I’d have..’

She has also spoken to The Mirror about motherhood, saying that being a single parent was ‘hard to get [her] head around initially’ and wasn’t what she ‘expected’.

‘But that’s the cards I was dealt in the end. Of course, I’m going to make it work for my child, even more so. I feel like I’m a really good mum, to be honest.’

On what advice she’d give to other mums and dads, Laura encouraged: ‘Prioritise what you need to do, it’s just me. I have to make it work. I am tired but of course, I’m going to be tired. I’m bringing up a human soul, that’s what I signed up for.

‘[Bonnie’s] great, your social life does a take a little bit of a backseat but most people, your good friends understand that.’

She also told the publication in June this year how ‘lucky’ she feels to have the support of her own mother in raising Bonnie.

Gary has remained schtum on their co-parenting and relationship woes, but has been known to post cryptic messages on social media.

When Laura last insinuated that he didn’t see Bonnie, he responded subliminally with a quote on his Instagram Story that read: ‘When you discover your self-worth, you lose interest in anyone who doesn’t see it.’

This came after Laura alleged he did not pay for food or nappies for Bonnie, who was eight months old at the time.

Reps for Gary Lucy have been contacted for comment.
