Logan Paul has claimed he has retired from WWE.
The controversial YouTuber turned professional wrestler has given an update on his future in the squared circle and insisted he won’t be part of WrestleMania 41 in April 2025 as WWE moves to Netflix.
The annual two-night extravaganza is heading to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 19 and 20 next year, but Logan has revealed he won’t be part of the show.
‘WrestleMania in Allegiant Stadium, 100,000 people? Yeah, it’s going to go crazy,’ he said on his own IMPAULSIVE podcast this week.
Asked if he’d be back in the ring in time for the big event, he quickly replied: ‘I’m retired. I’m a dad bro.’
His co-host Mike Majlak added: ‘He’s taking time off,’ casting some doubt over the 29-year-old former United States Champion’s future in the ring after becoming a father.
Logan, who is engaged to model Nina Agdal, took to social media back in September to reveal that his fiancee had given birth to a daughter named Esmé.
In a joint Instagram post, the couple said: ‘Esmé Agdal Paul has entered the chat.’
The social media star and Prime Energy founder – who got engaged to Nina in July 2023 after around six months of dating – previously revealed that he found the idea of fatherhood to be ‘a little daunting’.
Speaking to Extra, Logan shared: ‘It took three days. I’ll be honest with you. It took three days before I was like, “This is awesome.”
‘The idea of having a girl now is awesome, I’m in love with it. I can’t imagine anything else. But at first it was a little daunting, you know?’
Now, it appears fatherhood has put his wrestling career on hold four months after his last match for WWE, which came at the beginning of August as part of SummerSlam.
At the event, he lost the United States Championship to fan favourite LA Knight, having defended the title just twice since beating masked legend Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel in November 2023.
Logan has had a successful run with WWE thus far, making his debut teaming with The Miz against the father/son duo of Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38 in April 2022.
Since then, he has had singles matches with the likes of Seth Rollins, The Miz, Rey Mysterio, Ricochet, Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
His last win came at this year’s WrestleMania when he retained the US Title against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton in a Triple Threat, before he lost to Cody the next month.
This was followed by a loss to LA Knight in a Money In the Bank qualifier also involving Santos Escobar on SmackDown in June, but losing again to Knight at SummerSlam for his US Title.
Now, the future remains unclear at a pivotal point with WWE about to move to Netflix in a couple of weeks.
