Kim Tate (Claire King) returns to Emmerdale from a business trip abroad in a forthcoming episode, but as a new spoiler video shows, it’s far from a happy homecoming.

When Kim went away, Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) was mysteriously missing and Kim and Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) were both suspicious of each other, suspecting that one of them had done something to get rid of the problem of Rose for good. This added to tensions that were already in the marriage, because of Rose.

Since Kim’s departure, things have gone from bad to worse for Will. Dawn (Olivia Bromley) revealed that she’d known all along where Rose was, after finding her at the roadside where Kim and Will had left her.

Outraged that her father would be willing to pay Rose to leave the country and abandon dawn and her family once again, Dawn devised a plan to see how far Will was prepared to go in his lie. She pretended that her ill son, Evan, needed a bone marrow transplant and it was vital that they contact Rose.

When Will still refused to be honest with Dawn and she realised he was even prepared to put Evan’s health second to protecting Kim, she was furious and moved her family out of Home Farm.

As well as this, things have been going badly in Will’s business, Home James, which he shares with Jimmy King (Nick Miles). Deliveries have gone missing, they were hit with a large fine after a tachograph inspection, and illegal red diesel was found in one of the trucks.

Viewers know that Caleb Miligan (William Ash) is behind all of this as he seeks to take control of the haulage firm as part of his wider plan to build up a business and property portfolio in the area to rival Kim’s.

In this video it seems his plans have started to bear fruit, as Jimmy has come to tell Will that he’s offered to let Caleb buy his share in Home James.

For Will it’s another blow he can’t cope with as he sits in his dressing gown in the middle of a drinking session and the two men are soon arguing about who was responsible for getting them into the mess.

And at that moment, Kim returns – and of course she wants to know what’s going on.

‘Since you’ve been away, some things have happened,’ Will says. ‘Bad things.’ Close to tears, he says he doesn’t know where to start.

Will Kim be able to rescue the situation?
