Manchester City is close to reaching agreements with Walker and Silva.

According to sources, Bernardo Silva and Kyle Walker are close to signing new contracts with Manchester City.

Silva and Walker were rumored to be leaving the Etihad Stadium this summer, but they are now set to remain.

Bayern Munich has offered Walker a contract, while Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Al Hilal have expressed interest in Silva.

Following the departures of Ilkay Gündogan and Riyad Mahrez, sources indicate that City intensified their efforts to retain the duo.

After missing Kevin De Bruyne for the first half of the season due to a hamstring injury, they are searching for a new winger and midfielder to replace Mahrez and De Bruyne, respectively.

Silva missed the Super Bowl victory over Sevilla and Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Newcastle but is anticipated to be healthy for Sunday’s trip to Sheffield United. He will resume training this week.

John Stones has not played since the Community Shield loss to Arsenal and is expected to be sidelined for an extended period of time as he recovers from a muscle injury.

Aymeric Laporte is on the verge of accepting Al Nassr’s offer to relocate to Saudi Arabia. City has accepted an offer, and Laporte, who was left off the weekend roster, is currently negotiating terms.

Also, according to sources, City are nearing an agreement with Barcelona for fullback João Cancelo.

The agreement is anticipated to involve a loan with an option to purchase for approximately £25 million next summer.
