Panoramic cases are growing in popularity, and MSI has every chance of creating the perfect water cooler for such chassis with its new MPG Coreliquid P series AIOs. In addition to conveniences that assist with cable management and installation, the headline feature here is without a doubt its adjustable LCD. Now, you won’t have to crane your neck to see whatever system information or funny animation you’ve got atop your CPU.
Revealed at Computex, MPG Coreliquid P series are compatible with AMD and Intel motherboards. Both the radiator fans and bracket come pre-installed on the cooler, with no need to swap out the latter for a particular socket. Instead, MSI has crafted what it calls a ‘Uni-bracket’ which, as its name suggests, will slot it no problem to LGA 1700 and AM5 socket boards.
To make installation even more convenient, MPG Coreliquid P series uses a single cable to connect the water block and radiator fans. Taking things one step further, MSI has also pre-arranged fan cables with a cover, that should make for a seriously tidy build with minimal management needed.
Returning to MPG Coreliquid P series’ display, though, it’s a welcome addition that further adds personality to any system. MSI has fitted a 4.3in IPS panel atop the water block, up from the D series’ 2.4in display, but there’s no word on resolution. The screen features 40 degrees of adjustability, which will likely be more than enough to get it in the perfect position within your PC.
Niceties aside, I’d just like to highlight that the white model is absolutely stunning to my eyes. MSI has done a fantastic job at pairing the different shades of white present on the tubes, fans, and display. That is, of course, not forgetting how ace the RGB on the included fans looks in action.
