Naked and Afraid star Sarah Danser has died aged 34 after being involved in a car crash.
The reality TV star appeared on the survival series in 2017 before returning the following year for the all-stars spin-off Naked and Afraid XL. Last year she starred in Fight to Survive.
Danser died after a 59-year-old male driver lost control in Kahala, Hawaii and crashed into a parked car, according to a Honolulu police statement shared with KSLA.
Danser, who had lived in Hawaii for 12 years, was a passenger in the car with the male driver and was hospitalised in critical condition on Sunday. She died of her injuries on Tuesday.
Her father Dan Danser said in a tribute to the publication: ‘I actually saw how much of a difference she made in the lives of others. I think she saved my life once, diving in Indonesia.’
Friend and fellow diver Tim Mason also remembered ‘smart’ Danser. He said: ‘She went under the water. She found food, slugs and snails and stuff like that. She knew what to do to survive and she did great.’
