If you thought Neighbours’ Death in the Outback drama was explosive, wait until you see what they’re lining up for the aftermath!

The Amazon Freevee soap picks right up from where we left up on Friday, as Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) lies lifeless on a railway track… with a train thundering closer by the minute.

In the bush, Mackenzie Hargreaves’ (Georgie Stone) bloody body is being cradled by boyfriend Haz Devkar (Shiv Palekar) and Melanie Pearson (Lucinda Cowden) as they desperately try to stop the bleeding from her bullet wound.

Back on Ramsay Street, news soon reaches the residents and Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) is forced to break some sad news to her step-children…

The incident looms large over Erinsborough, overshadowing Cara Varga-Murphy’s (Sara West) surprise 40th birthday bash that has been arranged by son JJ (Riley Bryant).

Whilst love is in the air for one new couple, a much-loved marriage is on the rocks as things kick off during the celebrations.

We can’t give much away – but what we can tell you is that the residents face one final, horrifying shock.

Back on Ramsay Street, everyone else is rocked to the core by the ramifications of the recent events, with Terese forced to break the shocking news to Nell (Ayisha Salem-Towner) and Hugo (Tanner Ellis-Anderson).

Cara’s 40th birthday is fast approaching, but JJ resolves that calling off the surprise birthday party next door at No. 32 is the appropriate thing to do under the weight of the share housemates’ circumstances.

Aaron reckons that a celebration would be a good distraction for everyone, and hopes that the bash would be enough to lift everyone’s spirits. Andrew (Lloyd Will) and Wendy (Candice Leask) save the day by offering No. 26 instead.
