David Corenswet debuts as Superman next year, and based on the actor’s past roles, Superman movie set videos, and more, I think he could be the best.

Mr. Irrelevant will tell the inspiring true story of John Tuggle, who was drafted by the New York Giants in 1983 and had a lasting influence on his team and fellow players. Tuggle wasn’t the first Mr. Irrelevant, which was Kelvin Kirk in 1976, though his story demands to be told. Although a few players in that position have achieved success, Brock Purdy recently rejuvenated the title since becoming the starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers and leading the team to the Super Bowl last season.

It’s Smart To Set Up Roles Outside The DCU

As David Corenswet embarks on his journey as Superman, it’s important for him to explore roles outside the new DC Universe, such as John Tuggle in Mr. Irrelevant. Many superhero actors, such as Chris Evans and others from the MCU, have faced challenges breaking free from their iconic roles and have often been typecast into similar characters. By diversifying his filmography early on, Corenswet can establish himself as a versatile actor and set the stage for a successful and sustainable career outside the DC Universe.
