NULGE Not In Crisis With Local Government Service Commission – Acting President

The newly appointed Anambra State chapter President of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Comrade Aromeh Nicholas, on Thursday, said the union has no issue with their employer, State Local Government Service Commission.

Aromeh, who stated this while addressing members following his assumption of duty as Acting State President, was formally the Deputy President before his appointment by the National Executive Council members of NULGE following the exit of the former President of the Chapter, Comrade Chikwelu Adigwe, from the service.

He also dismissed viral social media reports alleging that NULGE was accusing the commission of corrupt practices, noting that they could not have authored such reports while enjoying harmonious working relationship aside duly receiving their entitlements.

According to him, NULGE under the current administration would rather beef up action towards ensuring that welfare of members, including work ethics improved so as to impact positively on the populace.

Aromeh further assured local government workers that his office would run an open door policy, as well as work towards reuniting members to forge common goals as there were no faction in the union.
