Piers Morgan has been forced to apologise to Jay-Z and Beyoncé after serious allegations by Jaguar Wright were aired.

On his YouTube series, Uncensored, Morgan, 59, interviewed the 47-year-old American singer, who made false claims against the couple.

While discussing Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ arrest, she said: ‘For four years I’ve been screaming not just Diddy, but Diddy and Jay-Z are monsters.’

Elsewhere, on the October 2 episode, Wright claimed Jay-Z was ‘worse than Diddy’. Combs, 54, has been hit with multiple lawsuits in recent months, for various sex crimes over the years, which he was arrested and charged for in September.

During the conversation, Wright later said Jay-Z and Beyoncé had hundreds of victims.

The legal team for Jay-Z, 54, and Beyoncé, 43, contacted Piers, which led to him calling the comments ‘totally false’ and issuing a direct apology.

‘Jaguar Wright made several serious allegations about Jay-Z and Beyoncé during their interview. As I said in the moment, they were not present to respond or defend themselves,’ he began.

‘Now they have. Their lawyers contacted us to say those claims were totally false, and have no basis in fact.’

Piers then shared that they had edited the interview to remove the allegations.

‘We’ve therefore complied with the legal request to cut them from the original interview.

‘Editing interviews is not something we do lightly on a show called Uncensored,’ Piers continued.

Piers then compared the situation to a fire before concluding with his apology.

‘But like the proverbial cries of fire in a crowded theatre, there are legal limits on us too. We apologise to Jay-Z and Beyoncé,’ he stated.

A now-edited version of the interview is available to watch on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored YouTube channel.

Piers began Uncensored, which is described as ‘the global arena for fearless debate, bold opinions and major interviews’ in 2022.

The platform began after Piers left Good Morning Britain. The journalist exited the ITV morning show after storming off set following a heated debate about Meghan Markle. His comments included that he ‘didn’t believe a word’ she said about her mental health.
