Fans yelled and screamed at the Pretty Reckless’ gig in Spain but not out of excitement — instead the lead singer was being attacked by a bat.
Somehow, Taylor Momsen was totally oblivious to the critter taking a chunk out of her leg.
Wearing a black slip dress, the 30-year-old star shouted ‘Grazias’ to her Seville audience as the band opened for AC/DC on tour.
‘You guys are pointing at something,’ she said into the microphone utterly baffled by the frantic waves from the gig-goers.
Taylor wandered to the back of the stage, checking her outfit as she went before finally noticing the bat and rushing forward to the crowd.
Pointing to the creature as she walked, the Gossip Girl alum said: ‘There’s a f**king flying bat on my leg right now. Could someone help me please?’
‘I must really be a witch’ joked Taylor, staying remarkably calm after letting out a little ‘eeep’ while stagehands came to save her.
She stood still as they tried to scare the bat away, with it eventually flying off and the Grinch icon telling the audience it was all okay.
‘He’s going to be my new friend,’ Taylor announced seemingly completely unfazed by the fact the animal had actually bitten her.
In the video, she revealed she had to go to the hospital for rabies shots and showed off an impressive collection of bite marks on her thigh.
She captioned her ordeal: ‘So…ROCK AND ROLL MOMENT…in Sevilla Wednesday during “Witches Burn” of all songs… a BAT 🦇 🦇 flew onto me and clung to my leg…
‘In the moment I was performing and had no idea until the incredible crowd kept screaming and pointing…he was cute, but yes he bit me…so rabies shots for the next two weeks 😖😖😖
‘Thanks to all the staff at the hospital who dubbed me #batgirl after seeing it on the local news that morning…more footage to come…that’s one for the books!!!!’
Despite the ordeal, The Pretty Reckless will continue on the Pwr Up tour with the Thunderstruck legends — which hits London in July.
While interacting with fans on Reddit recently, the real meaning behind AC/DC’s name was finally revealed, a mere 30 years after forming.
‘What does AC/DC actually stand for?’ asked one fan, earning multiple replies as one user, @psychological_Ad8534, put to bed any rumours it means ‘anti-christ/devil’s child’.
They shared it really stood for ‘Alternating current/direct current’ which the band reportedly felt represented their ethos.
