Ruben Amorim claimed it was a ‘very good sign’ to see Rasmus Hojlund rowing with Manchester United team-mate Amad Diallo following the club’s Europa League win over Viktoria Plzen.
United moved into the top-eight of the Europa League group phase after beating Viktoria Plzen 2-1 on Thursday night.
Manchester United had lost their last two games going into the match and looked set for another disappointing evening as the hosts took the lead shortly after half-time following an error from Andre Onana.
But Hojlund equalised just after the hour mark and then popped up with the winner late on to complete the comeback.
Manchester United struggled to see the game out, failing to either score or waste time with a number of counter-attacks late on.
During one attack Amad failed to find Hojlund in the box and from another Hojlund did not pass to the United winger who found room down the right flank.
Hojlund was seen yelling at Amad after the full-time whistle was blown and the pair appeared to be rowing as the players shook hands and made their way off the pitch.
Asked if he was aware of the spat, Amorim said at his post-match press conference: ‘Yes and for me it’s perfect.
‘We need to feel something. In this moment we need to feel something. For me it’s a very, very good sign.
‘If we need to fight each other, it’s like a family. We need to feel something, that’s important. When you don’t care, you do nothing. When you care, you fight with your brother, father or mother.
‘For me it’s a very good sign.’
