Security operatives in the early hours of Thursday, August 1, took over the cities across the country ahead of the hunger protest.
Blueprint learnt that there is a heavy presence of security operatives at Enerhen junction, Effurun roundabout, Airport junction, Ajogodo in Sapele and Otowovdo junction in Ughelli.
Transporters and owners of businesses were seen going about their routines freely.
Also, there is heavy presence of police officers at the Lekki tollgate in Lagos.
Meanwhile, some protesters have converged at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The Protesters gathered as early as 6 am singing solidarity songs.
Present at the stadium are heavily armed security operatives.
