Nigerian singer, Davido, and Phyno, among others on Saturday visited the palace of the Olu of Warri.
The artistes, alongside popular veteran comedian, AY Makun, and celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest, were in Warri for the highly anticipated “Warri AGAIN” event, organized by Amaju Pinnick, the former Nigeria Football Federation’s President.
In the photos that surfaced on social media, captured the moment the Nigerian stars visited the palace, and went down on their knees to pay respect to the Olu of Warri.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Cubana Chief Priest wrote: “First time ever in Warri. First stop is at the great palace of the most fresh, smart, detailed, composed, and steezed-up king #oluofwarri OGIANE.”
“Warri Again” is scheduled for Saturday night, this comes after a disagreement between Davido and Pinnick in October 2023 when Pinnick called out Davido for not fulfilling his performance obligations at the 19th edition of the ‘Warri Again’ concert, even though he had been paid the requested fees.
In March 2024, both parties reportedly reached a mutual agreement to resolve the issue outside of the courtroom.
