The X31 combines the SK hynix technologies that enabled optimized power consumption in the Gold P31 and the highest specs for a consumer SSD in the Platinum P41. Moreover, while DRAMless SSDs are becoming more widespread as part of industry efforts To cut costs, SK hynix chose to maximize the X31’s performance by implementing DRAM as a buffer inside the SSD.”

Accordingly, the X31 can provide a maximum sequential read speed of 1050 megabytes per second (MB/s) and a maximum sequential write speed of 1000MB/s. At these speeds, a 1GB file can be transferred in just 1 second. More specifically, the X31 is capable of transferring 500GB of data while maintaining an optimal speed of over 900MB/s. This is because the X31 strikes a balance between managing the heat generated by fast data traffic and maximizing write speeds. “
