When the voiceover begins speaking about the past and the future, Din Djarin and Grogu are shown with “the future,” teasing the large role the duo will continue to play for both Star Wars and Disney as a whole. This comes just before Disney highlights that The Mandalorian was still the company’s most-watched original series of 2023, despite the mixed reviews season 3 received.

Given how beloved Din Djarin and Grogu are as a duo, this is no doubt the smartest move.
