“Stop Wearing Fake Shit” – Davido’s Elder Brother Adewale With A Message For The General Public

Davido’s elder brother Adewale Adeleke is issuing a stern warning to the general public, with regards to the use of fake designer items.

In his tweet, Adewale spoke about how it is unwise for people to wear fake designers because they’re easy to spot.

Adewale Adeleke’s post came without any prior prompting, which has led netizens to wonder who he was throwing shade at, or if it is just a regular PSA.

Another set of netizens were more concerned with the fact that he was talking down on people who can’t afford original designers, and they dragged him mercilessly.

larryforeman007 wrote, “Fake brands are brands in their own right. The value of a brand like Dior comes from the attention people give it. When fake brands start receiving the same level of attention, they also become significant-it’s all about perspective. Focusing too much on these things can reveal a lot about a personality. Honestly, if you’ve ever visited “Mandelas Lagos,” you’d be surprised by the quality of the fakes or imitations there, and you might
even be tempted to buy one. Don’t overthink fashion. Wear what suits you, brings you peace, and fits your budget.”
