Nollywood actor Stanley Nwoko, otherwise known as Stanley Ontop, has expressed gratitude hours after Ruby Ojiakor dragged their colleagues over Junior Pope’s death.
Hours ago, the Asaba movie star, who was close friends with the deceased, took to her Instagram page to call out Baba Rex and Adanma Luke, the producer of the movie, which claimed his life and others.
She noted how Baba Rex is using Junior Pope’s death as content on Instagram, while Adanma Luke is allegedly telling people how he begged her for a job rather than grieving him.
Taking to her comment section, Stanley Ontop expressed excitement that Ruby and others have woken up to see what he has been saying. He stated that one’s goal should be to fight against death, as he remembered his late colleague.
“Thank God everyone has woken up and seen what I have been saying. Just don’t die, that’s it.
Rest well, swag Nation”.
However, their colleague, Uche Ogbodo, had tackled Ruby for pointing fingers at them. She noted how people mourn differently as she made her know that they all loved JP and feel his death. She told her to stop accusing people because she couldn’t truly see their hearts.
Refreshing your memory, Junior Pope lost his life after drowning at Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie set on April 8th. The actor was finally laid to rest amidst years in his hometown in Ukehe, Enugu State.
Stanley Ontop had hinted that the late actor and his wife had marital issues before his death while responding to those who queried him over why ‘Husband’ wasn’t included in Junior Pope’s obituary.
Remember, there was an uproar online after the family of the actor released his funeral arrangements, and ‘husband’ was noticeably absent from the burial poster, which left tongues wagging as before his demise, Junior Pope was married to Jennifer Awele and they have 3 sons.
Stanley noted how he wanted to speak up, but Nigerians shut him up. He stated that he had a lot of information, but he wouldn’t say anything because nobody believed him when he wanted to speak out.
