Nintendo’s upcoming Zelda game Echoes Of Wisdom can already be had for as little as £37.49, but only if you pre-order from one particular retailer.
The next game in the Zelda series is set to change things up quite a bit, as for the first time you’ll play as Princess Zelda for the entire game, with new abilities and a new look to go with it.
Her new, less princess-like appearance caught fans’ attention on social media when the announcement trailer came out in June, which sparked a swathe of great artwork being shared onliine.
What’s also unusual is that The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, which comes out September 26, is available for up to 25% off – but only if you pre-order.
Echoes of Wisdom is available at a discounted price from numerous online retailers, compared to its standard price tag of £49.99.
The biggest discount we’ve found for the Nintendo Switch title is at Currys, where it’s is 25% off, slashing the price to £37.49.
Elsewhere, Echoes of Wisdom is 20% off at ShopTo, where it costs £39.85 and where it also comes with a free poster.
It’s currently £42.95 at Amazon, as well as at The Game Collection, and John Lewis.
Although the Nintendo store doesn’t offer any price cut there is a £60.99 pre-order that comes with an exclusive wall scroll included.
A new trailer for Echoes Of Wisdom was just released, showing off more of the unusual gameplay, where Zelda can create copies of animate and inanimate objects – using household objects to solve puzzles and monsters to fight for her.
The game uses the same graphics as the remake of Link’s Awakening but it’s an entirely original title.
A big part of the story involves mysterious rifts appearing around Hyrule, as Zelda sets out to rescue Link, instead of the other way around.
