The Night Agent season 3 will be adding more characters, as new details are revealed. The action series, created by Shawn Ryan, centers on FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), and season 1 explored a major conspiracy involving White House personnel. Along with Basso, the cast has featured Fola Evans-Akingbola, Sarah Desjardins, Phoenix Raei, Eve Harlow, Enrique Murciano, Hong Chau, and Luciane Buchanan. Following its premiere, viewership skyrocketed, becoming one of the most-watched shows on Netflix, and now, ahead of The Night Agent season 2, the streaming service announced another renewal.

While not much is known about season 3, TVLine recently revealed that new characters are being added to The Night Agent cast. One of these roles includes, “a beautiful Latina financial reporter who’s chasing a potential explosive story.” The other has been described as “a twentysomething forensic accountant who turns fugitive after stumbling across information with incredible geopolitical ramifications.” The update also explains that, although season 2 is coming, no plot details have been released.

Looking ahead, the series should continue revolving around Peter, but he won’t be the only returning character. In the closing minutes, Peter accepted a Night Agent position, while Rose stayed behind and Chelsea agreed to a spot on President Travers’ detail.
