This 175Hz MSI QD-OLED ultrawide is still the lowest it’s ever been

I’ve banged on several times about just how good QD-OLED gaming monitors are over the past couple of years. Jumping from a standard panel, like a TN or VA, they offer a better upgrade than a shiny new component in most cases, delivering the best colours possible without any performance overhead. Although Black Friday deals have come and gone, I’m happy to say MSI has kept its MAG 341CQP at an all-time low, letting you get your hands on a QD-OLED ultrawide gaming monitor up to 33% cheaper.

Maintaining its holiday savings, you can currently grab the 34in 175Hz screen for just $576 on Amazon US. There are similar discounts across the Atlantic, with the same model running for £599 in the UK. Listed as a Limited Time Deal, I can’t imagine it’ll stay this low for too much longer, so check your regional reductions by clicking the button below.

MSI MAG 341CQP

Visualize your victory with a 3440×1440 UWQHD 1,800R curved QD-OLED panel, 175Hz refresh rate, and rapid 0.03ms GtG response times.

To get a feel for this gaming monitor, it’s worth checking out our MSI MAG 341CQPX review, which takes a deeper look at the 240Hz model. Otherwise, the two are pretty similar under the hood. Both feature 3440 x 1440 resolution, a lightning-fast 0.03ms grey-to-grey reponse time that mitigates motion blur, and DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification to ensure exceptionally vivid images. Very few screens can compete.

With a gentle 1,800R curve, the Samsung panel conforms to the shape of your eye and reduces strain over long sessions. This keeps you in the game for longer before tapping out, although I’d always recommend stretching your legs and getting away from the display every once in a while.

The benefit of QD-OLED is its colour accuracy, as MSI promises a Delta E below 2 and 99% DCI-P3 gamut coverage. Naturally, this panel comes with the risk of burn-in, but MSI is also a leading manufacturer at fending it off. MAG 341CQP includes robust OLED Care 2.0 options to shift pixels from sticking and a three-year warranty covering any defects in the unlikely event they crop up. Besides, you can always stick an animated screensaver on, just in case.

It’s worth getting one before they’re all gone, especially now that Amazon has extended its return period beyond its usual 30 days. You’ll have until January 31, 2025 to send MAG 341CQP back for a full refund if you’re not happy with it, but I bet it’ll be love at first sight.
