Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War‘s highly anticipated third cour has just received its release date, and there isn’t much time left until the anime drops. The series has taken over the industry after a decade of hiatus, and it now enters its second half and the climax of the war.
The series was given a lot of love at Anime Expo 2024, where lots of new information such as a video game and merchandise being announced, but the star of the show was the reveal of a new trailer, a key visual, and a release date for the next installment of Thousand Year Blood War.
Titled Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War The Conflict, the official account of the anime revealed that cour 3 will be released in Fall 2024.

Bleach Takes Over This Year’s Fall Anime Season

The opening song will be performed by Six Lounge, the same group from My Hero Academia season 6, and Suisoh will be in charge of the ending song. The season will pick up right where cour 2 left off, with Ichibei’s fight against Yhwach heating up. As confirmed by Kubo, this season will feature many new additions, and it seems Uryu will be receiving original scenes based on the trailer. The director also confirmed this and teased that a certain captain would get their Bankai reveal.
There is a lot to be excited about in the coming season, but the main highlights will be Team Karakura’s descent into the palace, the conclusion of the fight between Yhwach and Ichibei, and some very interesting returning characters that will definitely take over the internet.
The fall season is very packed with new series and returning ones, such as Dragon Ball Daima, Blue Lock, Dandadan and Re: Zero, but Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War is still one of the most exciting ones of this year. There is a lot of hope for the animation quality as shown by Studio Pierrot’s internal changes, and Kubo working on new material to further enhance the season will make the anime a must-watch.
