Kemi Filani reported in September that Ooni and his fourth wife had announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy. Queen Ashley noted how, for over a decade, the enemies tried in her relationship with the monarch, but God made them victorious. She revealed that last year was a little dark for them as they lost twins, but God remained faithful.

In a follow-up post, while sharing a video of her cradling her baby bump, she reacted to the backlash she received for calling her newborn a crown prince, explaining that her son is a prince from her side and that of his father.

Recall that the Ooni of Ife finally married his fourth wife, Princess Ashley in October, 2023. This was a dream come true for Princess Ashley, who had been a long time concubine of the monarch. The royal wedding held in Ile Ife, with many dignitaries in attendance.

Last year October, Olori Ashley shared an adorable collage of photos of her and her husband as they celebrated their first anniversary. Expressing her love for the Ooni, she stated that she has grown to love him over the years and was eternally grateful to have him by her side as a husband.
